Exactly. And if Jesus was an actual person and not an amalgam of characters why not?
I changed the Superior Entity to External/alt-reality Force, fyi. I wanted to be consistent. :)
That's not very persuasive. Everybody that drives should have a drivers license, documented or not. In-state tuition is for everybody living in the state. Documented workers are more productive with more education the same as everyone else. Those from out-of-state are charged more because they probably won't work in the state and pay taxes.
This is especially lucky
LOL maybe your mom thought you could get them together LOL
So, lie to myself (and to God, presumably) about it? Tell myself that I believe in God even if I don't? That doesn't seem very intellectually honest.
I did my best.
It's a good observation that every medical procedure carries risk: there's no point exposing newborns to unnecessary risk.
4, with the condescending thing of 2. : )
As the Catholic wife married to an atheist, I will confess it is incredibly difficult. While there are only 3 comments so far, all have been from non-believing husbands (to Christian wives) who say it?s no big deal. But for the believer wife... it is a big deal. I know to my husband it is just all just fine and dandy just like it is with these fine folk. In order to survive daily life, we religious ?deal? or ?cope? with your non-belief but it can certainly also take its tole as a very heavy cross to bear.
Thanks, amateur, for your insight. Dismissed.
What movies are you guys going to see this summer?
Interesting that you're not actually answering a couple of very simple questions, but are wriggling and writhing with "following someone blindly" and "following Jesus." Those aren't questions I'm asking... why are you volunteering answers to them? I don't care about those things.
Now, that's an interesting loophole if it is in fact permissible. I can't see immediately why it wouldn't be, but then again I'm no legal eagle.
Like I said, free speech is pretty cool, within reason.
That?s not what formless and VOID means
In my list of 20 albums for my deserted island.
I totally agree. If there is no "experience" then there is nothing.
STS. Insults? You call pointing out the obvious as insults. You answered no questions of mine and called my thoughts silly. Well I guess I am obliged to apologize if I hurt your poor delicately imbalanced reasoning and sensitively thin skin. Oh my, daring to ask questions on a forum for debates and not getting answers is just so hurtful,
"And million variant atheist views, why can't you all just think the same way and make I easier for me to attack.
I know he trusts her and wants her to go and have a good time. He shouldn't have to be there just because.
You may want t read your story title again. Ordinary Jew or Prophet, hmmm?
In the spirit of "There are bigger fish to fry" Jesus comes down much harder on Capitalists and Adulturers.
He should have just stopped after the 3rd word
Pr0n wasn't as prevalent when I was a teen, so we weren't as saturated.
Are you going to visit the site?
I could be very mistaken about this, but if memory serves, abortion and birth control via "makeshift" condoms and elixirs pre-dated Israel and go back to Egypt. A weak case can probably be made that, since the biblical writers would have been aware of these methods, they would have condemned them if they offended moral taste. Again, iirc, I know of no biblical text that overtly mentions, much less, condemns, abortion. Pro-lifers typically refer to a Psalm or some other text whose author says something to the effect of "I thank God for wonderfully forming me in the womb", and "God knew me from the womb" or some such wording, which supposedly "proves" that YHWH would have been, at least implicitly, against abortion, since He sees persons and personhood already existing in the womb. But that's probably another weak case...
Yet, you're happy to inject *your ideology* into schools... to push against even their
"WHO AM I" 'nufsaid
I have no relationships with gods or goblins. I may put faith in things that exist, but not in things that humans assume to exist; certainly not in things that are extremely improbable to exist.
I have a drawer full of random things that are just probably called garbage, but I may need desperately in the next hour!
And if the business can?t sell wedding cakes to the public respecting their civil right to NOT share his beliefs the solution is obvious, simple and the one 2nd century Christian writers suggested to incense merchants concerned about Romans using what they offered for sale in pagan rites:
No--they don't. The MINUTE one CEO of a corporation that preys on the undocumented as a source of cheap labor gets frog marched off to prison, you can make that claim. But not until.
